The reverse of the coin depicts a close-up view of Mars from the spectacularly struck silver surface of its largest moon, Phobos. From this lonely lunar lookout, an astronaut stands in awe of Mars in full view. The red radiance of Mars, framed by the dark hues of space, dominates the reverse. At the right of the reverse, the inscriptions: "MARS FROM PHOBOS" - the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin depicts the Effigy of King Charles III and the inscriptions: "CHARLES III" - the name of the King, "2024" – the year of issue, "100 DOLLARS" – the face value and "1oz 9999 GOLD" – the weight and the fineness of the Gold.
