The reverse of the coin depicts a wonderful image of the Pico del Teide volcano, that is the highest point in Spain and the highest point above sea level in the islands of the Atlantic. On the reverse, a real Lava insert and the inscriptions: "Pico Del Teide" – the name of the coin and "2020" – the year of issue. The obverse of the coin represents the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Cameroon and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country and "1000 FRANCS CFA"- the face value.
