The reverse of the coin consists of a very unusual geometry, which is made up of two Silver discs that cut along the axial diameter. This geometric shape gives the coin the opportunity to depict multiple scenarios: Noah's Ark. According to the story, God decided to flood the earth and start over after seeing how wicked humanity had become. He chose to spare one righteous man, Noah, along with his family and some of each kind of animal on the earth. God gave Noah detailed instructions on how to build a massive boat, or ark, that would be able to withstand the flood. The surfaces of the coin represent the story of Noah with selective Antique Finish areas. The obverse of the coin depicts the Public Seal of Niue along with the inscriptions: "NIUE" - the country of issue, "FIVE DOLLARS" - the face value, and "2023" - the year of issue.
