USS ARIZONA by Miles Standish 5 Oz Silver Coin 25$ Palau 2021

The reverse of the coin depicts an incredible image of the USS Arizona Memorial seen from the above. The wreck was made visible through the construction of a covered pier that crosses the hull, accessible only by boat. The design also includes an actual piece of the wood deck from the battleship and the inscriptions: "REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR" - "December 7, 1941" – the date of the sinking, "USS ARIZONA", "2021" – the year of issue and "MS" – Miles Standish's initials. The obverse of the coin features an image of the USS Arizona Memorial with the American flag and some soldiers commemorating the sailors who died during the Japanese attack in 1941. On top of the obverse, the inscription: "PEARL HARBOR HAWAII". On the right, the Coat of Arms of Palau and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIC OF PALAU" – the country of issue and "25$" – the face value of the coin.
