The Virgin Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus are surrounded by angelic figures, while celebrating the sacred birth. The angels symbolize divine protection and guardianship over the holy family. On the obverse of the medal, the official logo of the issuing authority, along with the inscriptions: "SKARBIEC MENNICY POLSKIEJ" meaning Treasure of the Polish Mint - and "Ag999" - the fineness of the precious metal.
