The reverse of the coin represents the beautiful St. Isaac's Cathedral, designed by French architect Auguste de Montferrand and construction began in 1818. It took over 40 years to complete, with the cathedral being consecrated in 1858. The cathedral is a prime example of neoclassical architecture, combining elements of Greek and Roman styles. On the reverse, the inscriptions: "2022" – the year of issue and ".999 FINE SILVER" – the fineness of the Silver. The obverse of the coin depicts the Effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "SAMOA" – the issuing country and "HALF DOLLAR" – the face value.
