The reverse of this partially colored coin depicts the Roman Emperor Octavian Augustus, in the same pose as the statue located in Rome, Italy. All around the figure of the Emperor some images of Ancient Rome are depicted, including Centurions and a map of the extent of the Roman Empire. At the bottom of the reverse, the inscriptions: "ROMAN EMPIRE" and "27 BC – 476 AD" – the name and extent of the High Roman Empire and the Low Roman Empire. The obverse of the coin shows an Emperor's throne with the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country, "2 OZ" - the weight of the Silver, "2000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value, "Ag 999" – the fineness of the Silver and "2023" - the year of issue.
