The reverse of the coin features a detailed close up of the portrait of Hector of Troy and the inscriptions "Hector of Troy" – the name of the coin. The 2 oz fine-silver coin is strucked in a new minting technique that combines 11.5 oz of copper in between two layers of fine-silver resulting in super ultra-high relief while being topped off with silver antique finishing. The design on the reverse feature the portrait of the hero in his gear and the elements from the theme which showcases various ornaments that symbolizes the character's chilvaric values and beliefs. The same ornaments can be found on the obverse surrounding the legal tender. The obverse of the coin depicts the skulls of the sacrificed persons, the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "NIUE ISLAND" - the issuing country, "2020" - the year of issue, "ELIZABETH II" - the name of the Queen and "5 DOLLARS" - the face value.
