The reverse of the coin depicts an extraordinary picture of the Greater Thorn Bird, a symbol of resilience, being able to thrive in adverse conditions. The bird is represented in a rose bush and the red roses are selectively colored. On the obverse, a detail of the rose bush full of thorns. In the center of the obverse, the Coat of Arms of Gabon, along with the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE GABONAISE" – the country of issue, "3000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value, "2025" – the year of issue, "3OZ" – the weight of the coin and "Ag999" – the fineness of the Silver.
