The reverse of the coin depicts the Tyrannosaurus Rex, a giant carnivorous dinosaur, with a massive skull, a mouth full of sharp teeth, and a powerful jaw. Its relatively short arms ended with sharp claws, while its sturdy legs gave it great driving force. Its skin was likely scaly, and its body was supported by a long, muscular tail. On the reverse, the inscriptions: "TYRANNOSAURUS REX" - the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin showcases a cracked egg with the eye of a dinosaur peering at you through the fissure. All around, the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country, "2024" - the year of issue, "Ag 999 2 Oz" - the fineness of Silver and the weight of the coin and "2000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value.
