Description

The reverse of the coin depicts the assassination of Julius Caesar, the Roman military general and statesman who rose to power and became the dictator of the Roman Republic. As we all know, his ambition and authoritarian rule made him a target for those who opposed his dominance. At the top of the reverse, the inscription: "IDES OF MARCH" – the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of Niue with the inscriptions: "5 DOLLARS" – the face value, "2023" – the year of issue, "NIUE" – the country of issue and "AG 999" – the fineness of the Silver.
