The reverse of the coin shows the bust of Euclid, depicted in a pose in which he seems to be elaborating theories and philosophical concepts. The obverse of the coin shows the Coat of Arms of Greece, over a very sophisticated design reporting shapes and geometrical patterns. In the center of the obverse also the inscription: "ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΉ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΊΑ" - the issuing country and "10 ΕΥΡΩ" - the face value.
