PEACOCK Review: 1/2 Kilo Silver Coin 5$ Nauru 2022

Posted on2 Years ago 6824

I am a bird, but I cannot fly very high. I have beautiful feathers. Guess who am I?

Hello friends! Ilaria here, welcome back to power Coin!

Did you solve the riddle? I am sure you did, the answer is: Peacock!

PEACOCKS

Peacocks are male Peafowls. These birds are originally from India, Sri Lanka and some regions of Africa.

The first African Peacock was discovered in the forests of Congo in 1936 after a search that began 20 years earlier with the finding of a single feather.

Why are we talking about Peacocks today? Well, because we have just received an unbelievable coin representing one!

THE COIN

This beautiful coin weights 500 grams (that’s half a kilo!) and is made of pure Silver (Ag 999). It is a pretty big coin with a diameter of 120 mm and represents a peacock in his typical courtship behaviour.

In courtship display, the peacock elevates his tail and shows his fantastic feathers, tipped with an iridescent eyespot that is ringed with blue, bronze and green.

At the climax of this display, peacocks move their tails, giving the feathers a shimmering appearance and making a rustling sound.

THE REVERSE

The beauty of this bird’s feathers has been reproduced in a brilliant way on the reverse of this collectible through colorful enamel coatings (dark blue, green and electric blue) which, combined with many colorful Crystal inserts, give the idea of the iridescence of the real feathers.

The coin has Antique Finish, a very High Relief and many details, like the different patterns in the peacock’s head, body and tail.

THE OBVERSE

The obverse of the coin has the Coat of Arms of Nauru and shows the weight of the coin – “500 g”, the face value – “5$”, the year of issue – “2022” and the fineness of the Silver – “Ag 999”.

THE CASE

The coin comes in a custom shaped capsule and a very elegant wooden case. The case has a dark wood color and a hinged lid with an illustration of peacock’s feathers in pastel nuances and the inscription “PEACOCK”, which is the name of this collectible.

The case has a magnetic fastening and holds the Certificate of Authenticity under the lid.

Have you ever seen a Peacock? I have, but unfortunately I have never seen one displaying his feathers. Luckily, now I have this beautiful coin I can look at and so can you! Just click here and order yours today!

Stay tuned and remember: Collect, Invest, Enjoy!
