The reverse of the shaped coin depicts the face of the diquieting Pennywise, the fictional character and the primary antagonist in Stephen King's novel "It". The character is portrayed as a malevolent entity that takes various forms, but often appears as a clown named Pennywise. It preys on children in the town of Derry, Maine and feeds on their fears. The obverse of the coin shows the Coat of Arms of Barbados, along with the inscriptions: "5 oz Ag .999" - the weight and the fineness of the pure Silver, "2023" - the year of issue and "5 DOLLARS" - the face value.
