VERMILLION BIRD Four Auspicious Beasts 2 Oz Silver Coin 10000 Francs Chad 2021

The reverse of the coin depicts the Vermillion Bird, one of the Four Auspicious Beasts of the Chinese constellations who are viewed as the guardians of the four cardinal directions. On the left side of the reverse, a gilded symbol meaning the name of the coin. The 2 Oz Silver coin is struck in a new minting technique that combines 11.5 Oz of Copper in between two layers of Fine Silver, resulting in super ultra-High Relief while being tapped off with Silver Antique Finishing. The technique allows the coin to have an incredible weight and feel in the hand together with 80 mm diameter size. The obverse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of Tchad and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD" – the issuing country, "10000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value and "2021" – the year of issue.
