The reverse of the coin depicts the Black Tortoise, depicted as a snake coiled around the body of a tortoise. It stands strong with dominance amidst choppy waters and strong waves to claim its association with the element of Water. On the right side of the reverse, a Golden character that means the name of the coin. The 2 Oz Silver coin is struck in a new minting technique that combines 11.5 Oz of Copper in between two layers of Fine Silver, resulting in super ultra-High Relief while being tapped off with Silver Antique Finishing. The technique allows the coin to have an incredible weight and feel in the hand together with 80 mm diameter size. The obverse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of Tchad and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD" – the issuing country, "10000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value and "2021" – the year of issue.
