The reverse of each coin shows the Colossus of Rhodes, the Lighthouse of Alexandria, the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and the Statue of Zeus at Olympia. These wonders were symbols of power, beauty, and grandeur, and continue to enchant and awe even today, despite many of them being destroyed or damaged over the centuries. The obverse of the coin shows the Coat of Arms of Burundi and the inscriptions: "IBANKI YA REPUBLIKA Y' UBURUNDI" – the country of issue, "25 FRANCS" – the face value and "2 oz Ag 999" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver.
