The reverse of the coin presents Guan Yin, known as the "Goddess of Mercy" and is believed to listen to the pleas of those in need, offering comfort and assistance to all who seek her help. She is often depicted holding a vase of pure water, symbolizing the ability to cleanse and purify the soul. Guan Yin is a popular figure in Buddhist devotional practices, and her image can be found in temples, homes, and other places of worship across East Asia. Followers of Guan Yin often pray to her for guidance, protection, and blessings, believing that she will help them overcome suffering and achieve peace and enlightenment. On the obverse, also the Coat of Arms of Gabon, along with the inscriptions: "2000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value, "2025" - the year of issue and the Sutra inscriptions on all the obverse.
