The reverse of the coin commemorates the Royal Canadian Air Force, which has a long and proud history. Since its creation in 1924, the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) has evolved into a historic national institution, which has played a fundamental role in our nation's history and in the skies. The Canadian Air Force Canada burst onto the world stage during World War II and, driven by the contributions of its members, the RCAF quickly made a name for itself at home and abroad. On the reverse, the inscriptions: "CANADA" - the issuing country, "DOLLAR" - the face value, "1924 - 2024" - the commemorated period of time. The obverse of the coin shows the Effigy of King Charles III, along with the inscriptions: "CHARLES III" - the name of the King, "D.G.REX" - the Latin expression meaning "By the Grace of God, King".
