The reverse of the coin features an intricate design inspired by a hand-carved Western Red Cedar panel by Kwakiutl artist Jason Henry Hunt. The design includes a high-flying Eagle, depicted with selective Gold plating that highlights the formline style characteristic of Northwest Coast art. Surrounding the Eagle is a decorative rim resembling a cedar bark rope frame. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, with the inscriptions: "CHARLES III" - the name of the King, "D.G. Rex" - the Latin expression meaning "By the Grace of God, King", "CANADA 2024" - the issuing country and year of issue, and "30 DOLLARS" - the face value. Both sides of the coin showcase an engraved wood-grain pattern, filling the field and mimicking the look of a Kwakiutl wood panel.
