The reverse design is by award-winning Mint sculptor Wojciech Pietranik and captures the spirit of Australia. A single kangaroo poised to hop is featured against the outback horizon at dusk. This iconic animal of Australia is to the right of the waning sun, creating a reflective shadow of the roo in the ground. The obverse features Ian Rank Broadley's effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, unusually accompanied by the coin's $1 denomination. This is the only $1 Fine Silver Proof Kangaroo at Sunset coin produced from the Royal Australian Mint as part of their official 2010 numismatic program.

What does “pre-order” mean?

Items on “pre-order” are coins that are not in stock at the moment of purchase. The estimated availability date is indicated on the product page and may change for reasons beyond our control. Payments of pre-orders are due at checkout to ensure the best price and a prompt shipment of the order as soon as the coin is in stock.

When ordering a pre-sale product, you commit together with Power Coin to the total order quantity placed with the producing Mint, therefore all canceled pre-sale orders will be charged with a 5% cancellation fee.

How does the Loyalty Program work?

For every order placed on our website, Power Coin rewards you with loyalty points up to a maximum of 1000 points per order. Loyalty points are valid on your account for six months since order date and can be converted into a voucher. The voucher generated is valid for seven days, hence make sure to convert your loyalty points when you are ready to place a new order. Expired points and/or vouchers cannot be reinstated. If you cancel an order, loyalty points earned and/or used with it will be lost and cannot be reinstated.
