The coin reverse represents the Indo-Portuguese furniture, a symbol that represents the long-standing connections between Portugal and India. It originated from the trade and interactions between the two territories after Vasco da Gama's discovery of the sea route to India in 1498. This discovery opened up direct exchanges and led to more than six centuries of cultural exchanges between Portugal and India. The coin features a colorful vase with flowers, in the center of which is a bird, and on the sides of the coin, there are two snakes. On the obverse, also the inscriptions: "MOBILIARIO INDO-PORTUGUES" - the name of the coin, "PORTUGAL" - the issuing country, "2023" - the date of issue, "5€" - the face value and the Coat of Arms of Portugal and "SARA FEIO" - name of the illustrator.
