The reverse of the coin depicts the climate change, the coloured disc in the centre symbolize one of the main colour of the recycling points, and it's made from recycled materials polymerized to be integrated at the time of minting. On the reverse of the coin, a city under a thunderstorms, with lightning and flooding. The obverse depicts the Earth with many clouds, lightning, rain, the sun covered by clouds and the Coat of Arms of Portugal with the inscriptions 'PORTUGAL' - the country, '5 EURO' the face value.
