The reverse of the coin depicts a dragon rising from the surface with impressive detail, a realistic image that is brought to life. The dragon are depicted with very detailed intertwined body. The pattern itself is an outstanding piece of work. On the reverse the inscriptionS: "龙 DRAGON" - the name of the coin in chinese and "2024" . The obverse of the coin shows the Effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "AUSTRALIA" – the issuing country and "1 DOLLAR" – the face value.
