In early 1953, Princess Elizabeth was crowned. Admired as a symbol of strength and stability and beloved by people around the globe, she became the longest-reigning monarch in British history on 9 September 2015. On 6 February 2022 she became the first British monarch to celebrate 70 years on the throne. On reverse of the coin portrays the Shield of the Royal Coat of Arms featuring three lions, a harp, and a lion rampant – ancient heraldic symbols of England, Ireland and Scotland. On the reverse, the inscription ‘‘H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II 1952 | 2022'– the name of the coin. On the Obverse, the first and current coin effigies of the Queen. All around the obverse "2022 1oz 9999 Ag" – the year of the issue, the weight of the coin and the fineness of Silver. On the top of the obverse the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" the name of the Queen, "AUSTRALIA" the country of issue and "1 DOLLAR" the face value.
