This is due in no small part to the influence of films like James Bond, in which the Martini is a staple drink. On the obverse, the Coat of Arms of Samoa, along with the inscriptions: "SAMOA 2023" - the country and year of issue, "10g" - the weight of the coin, "1 DOLLAR" - the face value and "Ag 999" - the fineness of Silver.
