The reverse of the coin is crafted into a rectangular shape and coloured on all four sides to represent the spine and pages of the comic book Batman #1, from March 1940. Batman is one of the heroes of DC comics, depicted with his partner Robin. On the reverse, as depicted on the original comic book, the inscriptions: "ALL BRAND NEW ADVENTURES OF THE BATMAN AND ROBIN, THE BOY WONDER". The obverse of the coin depicts the Public Seal of Niue and the inscriptions: "NIUE" – the issuing country, "2023" – the year of issue, "TWO DOLLARS" – the face value and "1 oz 999 Fine Silver" - the weight and the fineness of the Silver.
