Description
Mamenchisaurus is one of the longest-necked dinosaurs ever to have existed, some of which may have reached 35 metres in length. The coin's reverse depicts a fantastic image of the dinosaur. On the reverse are the inscriptions "MAMENCHISAURUS" - the name of the coin, and "Dinosaurus in Asia" - the name of the series. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" - the Queen's name, "SAMOA" - the country of issue, "2 DOLLARS" - the face value and all around the images of some Dinosaurs discovered in Asia.
