The reverse side of the coin portrays a face coming out of a mirror with an incredibe High Relief. The face depicted belongs to a mirror person trying to break into our world from the mirror world. Mirror people are a race of creatures that orignates in Chinese myths. According to the tradition, they lived in a dimension apart from Earth. The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of Niue and the inscriptions: "FIVE DOLLARS" – the face value, "2022" – the year of issue and "Ag 999" – the fineness of the Silver.
