The reverse of the coin depicts a small domestic android that once accompanied a child, standing on a school bus in the middle of a city desolated by destruction, pointing and longing sadly for the teddy bear that once belonged to its owner. The series pictures a post-apocalyptic world, in which humans have created an AI to replace almost all human functions to the point of human destruction and extinction, with the world populated solely by androids and other AIs. The reverse of the coin also includes the inscriptions: "END OF HUMANITY" – the name of the series, placed on what was once a road sign, and "MEMORY" – the name of the coin, placed on a small sign hanging from the pole of a broken traffic light. The obverse of the coin depicts the moment when an AI presses the button that would bring about the destruction and disappearance of the human race. On the right, the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The obverse also incorporates the inscriptions: "NIUE 2022" – the country and year of issue, "5 DOLLARS" – the face value and "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen.
