The reverse of the coin features a beautiful image of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington National Cemetery's most iconic memorial. The front of the monument depicts three figures representing Peace, Victory and Valor. In the background, a wreath, symbol of honor and respect and victory. The design also includes the inscrptions: "HONOR GUARD", "2022" – the year of issue and "MS" – Michael Standish's initials. The obverse of the coin features an image of the back of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with the inscription: "HERE RESTS IN HONORED GLORY AN AMERICAN SOLDIER KNOWN BUT TO GOD". In the background, the flag of the United States and, all around, some stars. At the botton of the obverse, the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "COOK ISLANDS" – the country of issue and "5 DOLLARS" – the face value.
