ALETAI Iron 1 Oz Meteorite Coin 1$ Niue 2022

This exceptional coin is made out of a fragment of the Aletai meteorite. The first fragment of this meteorite was found in 1898 in the Aletai mountains which stretch across the borderlands of Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and China. As the material of the coin is assumed to be 4.56 billion years old, it is a fascinating witness to the origins of our solar system.On the reverse, the inscriptions: "999. Meteorite" - the material of the coin and "ALETAI" - the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: " ELIZABETH II" - the name of the Queen, "NIUE" - the country of issue, "2022" - the year of issue and "ONE DOLLAR" - the face value.
