The reverse of the coin depicts the incredible portrait of James Cook above a beautiful water Enamel. On top of the reverse, the inscription: "COOK'S VOYAGE of DISCOVERY" – the name of the coin. On the bottom, the inscriptions: "250TH ANNIVERSARY" and "1770 – 2020" – the years of the anniversary. The obverse of the coin depicts a beautiful compass and the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. All around the obverse, the inscriptions: "SOLOMON ISLANDS" – the issuing country, "10 DOLLARS" – the face value, "3 oz Ag 999" – the weight of the coin and fineness of the Silver and "2020" – the year of issue.
