Seven Wonders of the World
Various lists of the Wonders of the World have been compiled from antiquity to the present day, to catalogue the world's most spectacular natural wonders and manmade structures. The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is the first known list of the most remarkable creations of classical antiquity; it was based on guidebooks popular among Hellenic sightseers and only includes works located around the Mediterranean rim and in Mesopotamia. The number seven was chosen because the Greeks believed it represented perfection and plenty, and because it was the number of the five planets known anciently, plus the sun and moon. Many similar lists have been made.

The reverse of each note depicts a different image of the seven wonders of the world with beautiful details. On top of each reverse, the inscriptions: “SEVEN WONDERS OF THE ANCIENT WORLD” – the name of the series, “2017” – the year of issue, “2018” – the year of issue and “$10” – the face value. On the bottom, the name of each coin and the logo of the collection. The obverse of the notes depicts the effigy of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “2017” – the year of issue, “2018” – the year of issue, “SOLOMON ISLANDS” – the issuing country, “$10” – the face value, “0.5g Au999” – the weight of the notes and the fineness of the Gold.
