The reverse of the coin shows the coloured aliens that move as the coin is rotated at different angles, just like in the actual game. On top of the reverse, the inscription: "SPACE INVADERS" – the name of the coin and of the game. On the bottom, the inscriptions: "1 oz 999 FINE SILVER" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver and "© TAITO CORP.1978, 2018" – the name of the production company. The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "NIUE" – the issue country, "TWO DOLLARS" – the face value and "2018" - the issue year.
