The reverse of the spherical coin features a beautiful and a golden footprint commemorates the first step mankind dared to take on the moon. The Apollo 11 mission was a historic event that took place in July 1969. It was the first manned mission to successfully land on the Moon. The crew consisted of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins. All around the coin, the inscription: "THIS KAPTON FOIL PROVIDED THERMAL PROTECTION FOR THE APOLLO 11 COMMAND MODULE ON ITS FLIGHT TO THE MOON AND BACK".
