The reverse of the coin offers a representation of Dazhbog, a major deity in Slavic mythology, worshiped as the sun god and associated with warmth, fertility, and agricultural productivity. According to legends, Dazhbog rode a fiery chariot across the sky and brought light and warmth to the earth. He was also believed to control the seasons and was invoked in rituals and prayers for a good harvest and prosperity. On the reverse, the inscription: "DAZHBOG" – the name of the coin. The obverse presents the Public Seal of Niue with, all around, the inscriptions: "NIUE ISLAND" - the issuing country, "FIVE DOLLARS" - the face value, "2024" - the year of issue, and "3oz Ag 999" - the weight and fineness of the Silver.
