The reverse of the coin depicts a wonderful image of the Mahakala, the main protector of dharma in the tibetan buddhism. The stunning Mahakala is embellished with selective gilding and it has the crown of five skulls, which represent the transmutation of the five kleśās (negative afflictions) into the five wisdoms. On the top of the reverse, the inscription: "MAHAKALA" – the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin represents the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Cameroon and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country, "2020" - the year of issue and "2000 FRANCS CFA"- the face value.
