The reverse of the coin reproduces the incredible front view of the famous sculpture, La Pietà by Michelangelo Buonarroti. On the right side of the reverse, the inscriptions: "MICHELANGELO BUONARROTI" - the name of the artist, "PIETA" – the name of the coin and of the sculpture and "1498 - 1500". The obverse of the coin features a wonderful pattern next to the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "NIUE ISLAND" – the issuing country, "5 DOLLARS" – the face value and "2019" – the year od issue.
