The reverse of the coin depicts Edvard Munch, the popular Norwegian painter known for depicting in his paintings the deep emotions and fears of the human soul, a reflection of inner conflicts and unrest. At the bottom of the reverse a dedicated stone in the color of the painting and the inscription: "E.Munch" – the name of the painter. The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of Cameroon and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" – the country of issue, "2024" – the year of issue and "500 FRANCS CFA" – the face value.
