The reverse of the coin shows Puss in Boots, a fairy tale written by Charles Perrault in 1697. The story follows a clever cat who helps his poor master gain wealth and prestige through a series of clever tricks and adventures. On the obverse, the Public Seal of Nue, with the inscriptions: "ONE DOLLAR" – the face value, "2024" – the year of issue. All around the obverse, the thematic images of the tale.
