The reverse of the coin depicts the image of Mickey Mouse in a hilarious pose with his signature outfits. The character Mickey made his first appearance that same year in the short film "Steamboat Willie" where he portrayed a sailor on a paddle steamer. Since that historic first appearance, Mickey Mouse has become Disney's iconic character, propelling the studio to international success.
