The reverse of the coin depicts the Malta National Band Association, the oldest bands in Malta, which were probably inspired by the presence of British military bands on the island, came into existence around the second half of the nineteenth century. Some of the oldest band clubs actually started out as social circles, referred to as the "circolo" or "casino". The design also reports the inscriptions: "GHAQDA KAZINI TAL-BANDA"- the name of the coin. On the obverse, the Coat of Arms of Malta and the inscriptisons: "2023" - year of issue, "10 EURO" - the face value and "REPUBBLIKA TA MALTA" - the issuing authority.
