The reverse of the coin depicts the main character of the novel, psychologist Kris Kelvin, who arrives from Earth to a research station floating above the cytoplasmic ocean covering the planet Solaris. On the reverse, the inscriptions: "STANISŁAW LEM", "SOLARIS"- the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of Malta and the inscriptions: "MALTA" – the country of issue and "2022" – the year of issue, "10 Euro" – the face value, "2 OZ AG 999" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver.
