The reverse of the coin features the coloured flags of England and Europe and the inscriptions: "BREXIT" - the name of the coin, "31.01.2020" - the date of the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II tearfully. All around, the inscriptions: " 2 POUNDS" - the face value, "ELIZABETH II" - the name of the Queen and "D·G·REG·F·D" - the latin acronym that stands for: Dei Gratia Regina Fidei Defensor.
