The reverse of the coin depicts the archeological site of Machu Picchu, situated on a mountain ridge and shows stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Machu Picchu was built by the Inca emperor Pachacuti in the mid-15th century and was abandoned a hundred years later during the Spanish conquest of the Inca Empire. On the reverse, also the inscription: "MACHU PICCHU" - the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin presents all the New Seven Wonders of the World. In the central area of the obverse, the Public Seal of Niue and the inscriptions: "50 DOLLARS" - the face value and "2024" - the year of issue.
