It is said to be a ferocious protector of the animals and plants in its environment and will fiercely defend them against any threats. On the reverse, the inscriptions: "WILDMAN" - the name of the coin and "2022" - the year of issue. On the obverse of the coin, the Wildman is portrayed in his whole figure, immersed in a natural landscape while holding a club. On the top of the obverse, the Coat of Arms of Cameroon with also the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country and "5000 FRANCS CTA" - the face value.
