The reverse of the coin depicts a wonderful image of Loop the loop, a dual-tracked steel roller coaster and the passenger cars that had actual tires and the only thing holding them on the track was a small side railing. In the center of the reverse, the inscriptions: "LOOP THE LOOP" - the name of the coin, "1901" - the year when the roller coaster started to operate, "2021" the year of issue and "120th ANNIVERSARY". The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by the rollercoaster and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "COOK ISLANDS" – the issuing country and "5 DOLLARS" – the face value.
