The reverse of the Platinum coin depicts a panda while drinking water from a river. The Gold coin depicts a panda while eating his meal, a delicious branch of eucalyptus. On the left of the Gold coin, the inscription: "10元" – the face value. On the bottom, the inscription: "1g Au 999" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Gold. The obverse of the Gold coin features the temple of the famous Forbidden City and the inscriptions: "中华人民共和国" – the issue country and "2017" – the year of issue. On top of the Platinum coin, the inscription: "THE PLATINUM PANDA" – the name of the coin. On the bottom, the inscriptions: "2017" – the year of issue and ".9995 FINE PLATINUM 0.5 G" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Platinum.
