The reverse of this interesting 100g Silver medal depicts 8 traditional masks and the mask that stands out in the middle is 3 gram gold mask embedded in the middle of a 100 gram silver medal and is the most well-known mask called, "Hahoe". On the top of the medal, the inscriptions: "Korean Traditional Mask" and "Hahoe Mask" – the name of the medal. The obverse of this medal depicts a vivid and detailed representation of a theatrical play in which these masks would typically be featured is shown. A man in the Hahoe Mask and a distinctive headdress stands behind a second masked.
